I have a simple recipe for you today that combines two of my favorite things: peanut butter and bacon. I love bacon in anything and on anything…and peanut butter I have to stop myself from eating right out of the jar!
So, it was only right that these two great ingredients come together… and make a to die for cookie.
Are you ready for Peanut Butter Bacon cookies? If so, here’s the recipe!
Ingredients:
2 cups Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups white sugar
1 pound of bacon
2 Eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350.
Fry bacon until tender. Drain fat and allow to cool. Then crumble.
Stir peanut butter and sugar together until smooth. Then, beat in the eggs one at a time. Next stir in baking soda, salt, vanilla and 1/2 of the bacon.
Roll batter into 1″ balls and place 2″ apart on a greased cookie sheet. Smash the balls with a fork and place remaining bacon on top.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Then, allow to cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before removing.
There you go! I dare you to eat just one. I dare you!
