Wondering what is all inside of the Domestic Church Project App? Well, you are in luck! Here is an in-depth look at everything we have packed inside.
If you would like to take a tour of the app, here is a short and sweet video.
Also, we are currently welcoming new families! To join us, just head here: https://www.domesticchurchproject.com/dcp-community
The DCP Bootcamp is a 6-week experience for the whole family that teaches you how to build and lead your own Domestic Church.
This audio-based program is for the WHOLE FAMILY, requires zero prep, and can be done each night over dinner.
We strove to make this program simple, beautiful, 100% Catholic, and utterly transformative.
We’ve heard from so many families asking for these things. That’s why we created the Bootcamp because Catholic families needed it.
Through the grace of God, we created this Bootcamp this summer. We tested the Bootcamp with over 100 families this fall.
Just last week I got this message from a parent inside of that app who is taking her family through the Bootcamp:
My oldest just said this, of his own volition said, “The DCP has changed our family.” He is right! This has transformed us!”
Although all the pieces of the Domestic Church Project App that I will be sharing with you this week are important and created with care, the DCP Bootcamp is the heart of everything.
You are called to live in a Domestic Church–but as a parent, that means that you need to get to work. And we want to help you with that work.
Let us walk this journey with you and give you the framework you need.
Through the DCP Bootcamp, we work hard to train families to:
But, the DCP Bootcamp is only 6 weeks long.
When we took our family through the DCP Bootcamp this summer we loved it, and after 6 weeks we finally felt like we were in a good routine of listening to a lesson and discussing the Faith each night over supper.
But then it ended, and we all had a deep feeling of, “Okay, what now?” In fact, our kids continued to ask for the lesson each night.
It is our goal to help you KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING.
To do this, we have created several audio courses for families to go through after (or before) they complete the DCP Bootcamp.
These Liturgical Studies include:
All of the scripture and reflections, ready to be listened to whenever and wherever. The audio lessons are SHORT (roughly 3 minutes each). Listen together and make Lent beautiful!

A beautiful image and reflection for each day of Holy Week and the Easter Octave.
Celebrate the saints by hearing their stories and how God used their experiences to lead them to holiness.
Rosary Reflections for each of the 20 decades of the Rosary, based on the writings of St. Teresa of Calcutta. Plus, a full audio Rosary to listen to or pray along with.
Explore with us what we should understand from each of the 10 commandments, as well as how Jesus expanded this teaching during His public ministry.
This audio version of the updated Jesse Tree will make completing this Advent Devotional doable and beautiful!
Wow, right? Ready to jump in and start forming your family with these incredible resources? Sweet! Let’s do this! Just sign up here: https://www.domesticchurchproject.com/dcp-communit…
Once again, we know that’s a lot of content…but remember, we are at a buffet here. Just look at all the delicious possibilities for your family, and then decide what you will use and when.
Each of the studies above is broken into short, beautiful lessons. We worked hard to keep STORYTELLING at the heart of everything, stories that lead to great discussions, and to make it easy and fun to consume together as a family.
Beyond this, we also have ALL of our saint/sacrament/10 Commandment coloring pages available in the app.
Leading a Domestic Church is no small task, and if you are anything like me, then you know that you still have a lot of the Catholic Faith to learn and fully embrace.
Let us help with that.
Inside the app, we offer two ongoing resources for Parent Formation.
Have you met our Spiritual Director, Fr. K? Maybe you remember him from the awesome story he shared on the podcast about a little boy named Tommy going to Mass (most popular week of the podcast BY FAR).
Each month Fr. K drops into the app with some formation for us. As he explains it, over the coming year he will be striving to show us how all of our Catholic Beliefs fit together and support each other. We are only two lessons in, and already, I am blown away!
Our designer Danielle works hard to make each video memorable and super educational.
When we surveyed you all, the number one request we got was to help you teach your kids about the major moral issues in the modern world.
So, we rounded up a bunch of experts and that is exactly what we are doing!
Twice a month we organize a live call with an expert in one area of Catholic Social Teaching. We ask them to speak to us on 1. What the Church Teaches on this topic, 2. How we live this teaching and 3. How to teach/demonstrate this teaching to our kids.
During the month of February, we will be chatting about bioethics and divorce. March will bring chats about the treatment of animals and pornography.
In future months we will tackle ALL of the Catholic Social Issues laid out by the USCCB, and each conversation will be guided by a practicing Catholic who is also an expert in that particular field.
We hope you will consider joining us inside of the app. To sign up, head here: https://www.domesticchurchproject.com/dcp-community
