Housework is an unavoidable part of many of our days. It is something we dread and put off and force ourselves to just get through. But, housework can be much more than that.
It is a call to an opportunity for Holiness.
Although I struggle with this as well, I worked hard to research and pray about this topic and I have come up with 3 points to consider when it comes to housework and holiness.
1. We are not “too good” for the menial work of cleaning and cooking and caring for our family.
2. The work we do around the house is an opportunity to show our love for our family.
3. When we engage in housework we have an opportunity to commune with many of the holy women that have come before us, including beloved grandmothers and our Blessed Mother.
I hope that you find this podcast enlightening and hope-filled!
Housework will always be a part of our lives, and it’s time we start seeing that as more of a blessing than a burden.
A BIG thank you to your ongoing support of this podcast and all that I do.

This was such a beautiful, simple message. Thank you. I also think there is something to be said for having less and living more simply. Then the chores you do may be fewer and can be more meaningful.
I’m not Catholic, but something is drawing me to the Church. If you have any advice where I should start, where to get information, what I should read, I would love to hear from you.

Prayers for you on this journey!
