I am lucky enough to come from a very talented and creative family. My older sister Ruth often stops by with great DIY projects, my mom has a fabulously Catholic blog where she shares her faith and her pictures, my son Gus was here yesterday sharing an art project and today I have another one of my sisters, Maria, here to share her ingenious craft/dessert for the feast of the Sacred Heart. How cool and inspirational and delicious is this?
The pie itself is simply chocolate pudding and whip-topping inside a crumb crust (okay, yum). And then, she added strawberries decorated as the Immaculate Heart of Mary:
And the Sacred Heart of Jesus:
So creative and all accomplished with just some strawberries, sprinkles, and toothpicks!
Thanks to my dear sister for allowing me to share this, and may you all have a wonderful feast day!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, Intercede with Jesus for us. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Have Mercy on us.
