It is a call to an opportunity for Holiness.
1. We are not “too good” for the menial work of cleaning and cooking and caring for our family.
2. The work we do around the house is an opportunity to show our love for our family.
3. When we engage in housework we have an opportunity to commune with many of the holy women that have come before us, including beloved grandmothers and our Blessed Mother.
I hope that you find this podcast enlightening and hope-filled!
Housework will always be a part of our lives, and it’s time we start seeing that as more of a blessing than a burden.
Your sister in Christ,
This was such a beautiful, simple message. Thank you. I also think there is something to be said for having less and living more simply. Then the chores you do may be fewer and can be more meaningful.
Iām not Catholic, but something is drawing me to the Church. If you have any advice where I should start, where to get information, what I should read, I would love to hear from you.
The best place to start is with this book: https://www.amazon.com/Rome-Sweet-Home-Journey-Catholicism/dp/0898704782.
Prayers for you on this journey!
I’m always so excited when I get the notifications of a new podcast episode from you! I can’t wait to listen to this during my podcast listening time, which is usually when I’m doing chores. What a perfect episode this will be š
