Dr. Seuss Color-able Picture Frame

Hello friends!

I am excited to be sharing a very simple, yet very fun, little project for you to do with your kids: Dr. Seuss Color-able Picture Frames.

I love Dr. Seuss and now that I am in the habit of reading LOTS of stories to my kids every day, I am falling more and more in love with his work.

He ties my tongue and makes me laugh, and some of the little phrases he came up with express the complicated things in life perfectly.

One of my favorite quotes is: “Today you are you!  That is truer than true!  There’s no one alive who is you-er than you!”

And, if there is one thing I know for sure about kids, whether they are my kids are not, they are always going to be truly themselves, no matter what.

And so, as an homage to Dr. Seuss, I used this quote to create a printable color-able picture frame that you can print at home, have your kids color, and then display in your home.

My kids had fun coloring the frames (and the table!!) and just because we are extra fancy around my house, we just metallic crayons.

A note here, the use of markers will make it really hard to read the frames, so I recommend using crayons to color.

Once the coloring is done, cut, add a cute picture, stick to the fridge and allow the kids to look at themselves in all their glory!

They really were…although they ripped them off the fridge pretty quick and wanted to carry them around the house. Oh well!
