And, when I say simple, I mean simple!
In fact, I’m not going to belabor this, or even offer up a tutorial.
I trust that if you are here, reading about little crafty projects, you know how to sew on buttons–and there really isn’t much more to this project than that!
The materials for this project are really simple.
I used a 4″ embroidery hoop, white non-stretch material, green embroidery thread, and lots of green buttons.
This is the perfect project for a button hoarder like me – a Button Wreath Ornament.
I really like working with buttons (check out this and this and this).
I placed the buttons around the edge of the hoop and stitched them down.
Then I added a little red bow, and a ribbon on top to make it an ornament.
Easy.
But, sometimes the easiest things are the best.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope your Thanksgiving prep is going well.
My family and I are embarking on an 18-hour drive to see my husband’s family…with two kids, ages 1 and 2.
Yeah, it is going to be interesting.
Thank goodness for the movie screen in the minivan.
All the best,

Hi! I’m not seeing the images on your posts these days. Perhaps it’s because they are in .png format? Have you recently changed the type of format you use? If not, I’m guessing it’s my work computer not showing them. If possible, can you post jpg files?
thank you!
jane
That is so strange..and I haven’t had this feedback from anyone else…
