Hey there! Welcome back to the Just One Small Thing Podcast. One of my good friends is joining us this week, the amazing Haley Stewart.
Haley is a wife, mother, Catholic writer, and podcaster. You likely know her from her blog, Carrots for Michaelmas, or her podcast, Fountains of Carrots.
Haley is a remarkable, engaging, faith-filled lady, and I know you are going to love this episode with her.
Haley is joining us on the podcast to talk about her new book, The Grace of Enough: Pursuing Less and Living More in a Throwaway Culture.
The Grace of Enough chronicles Haley and her family’s decision to radically change their lives.
Tired of the rat race of typical urban life, Haley and her family decided to sell their house, quit their jobs, and move their family halfway across the country for a year of simple living on a farm.
Based on this experience and their Catholic Faith, after leaving the farm, the Stewarts created a new life for themselves that focuses on what is simple and true and beautiful.
Reading this book will offer an important and powerful challenge for all families wondering if “this is it?”.
Because I just can’t help myself, Haley and I talk about just one important point she makes in this book (there are many!).
